Tamara Taggart is an award-winning Canadian broadcasting icon, community leader, and busy working mom. She has volunteered thousands of hours in the community, sits on the boards for several non-profit organizations, and advocates for the well-being of children and people with disabilities. She once co-hosted Live! With Regis and Kelly. She’s well-known as a popular news anchor at CTV.
She is currently running for Member of Parliament in the riding of Vancouver-Kingsway under the Liberal Party of Canada banner.
In 2015, she was awarded British Columbia’s highest honour, The Order of British Columbia.
She is married to 54-40/Matthew Good Band guitarist, Dave Genn, with whom she has three beautiful children.
